Back in the stands after their
performance, the Band gets to watch others perform and compete.
This is the most educational part of the program, where they

Where is our missing bus? It's a
long walk back to East Orange, NJ!

So far only one bus has shown up.
It's going to be crowded!

It's going to be a long wait for
the second bus. We're camping out on the sidewalk. Writing a new
song: "Stranded in Atlanta! Waiting for a bus! No one seems
to care about us!"
The buses have
left the hotel at 12:15 PM, headed back to New Jersey. More news
will be passed along as it comes in. The song will have to wait.

6:30 PM: Dinner
is at a Golden Corral Restaurant, probably the one in Smithfield, NC, which is next to Route 95. By 7:10 PM
they are ready to get back on the road and head home to NJ.
According to Al-Quadir's phone calculator, it may take 7-8 hours
to get from there to here, which means a possible arrival time of
between 2:30 and 3:30 AM. We'll add more as they get closer and
if they can give a better estimate of arrival time.

I'm not sure what this photo
means. It MIGHT mean they are crossing the Delaware River into
New Jersey, but all I have is the photo and no message.
The Band returned to East Orange
about 4:30 AM. Everyone is safely back home by now. I am working
on lots of photos and videos which will be added to these pages
all through the day. Stop back to see what's new.

There's still a great deal of
unpacking to do. Everything that went on has to come off and get
stored away for next time.
