Al-Quadir Marsh, formerly known as Wiz Kid Qua-Fiki,
shows us the results of Hurricane Florence passing over
his apartment in North Carolina on Sunday. The rain left
a growing lake behind the buildings which was much

storm started on Friday. When the storm started, we lost
power for about 24 hours on Friday going into Saturday.
Today (Sunday 9/16/18) the power went off twice and I

Wiz Kid Samuel and Wiz Kid Jim have been working on
taking photos for a new e-Book series for The Magic Nook
- Wiz Kid Lessons. Today we spent a few
hours in the heat of August taking photographs for Double
Deck Card Magic. Tomorrow we'll take the photos for
Silver and Gold Coin Magic.
Usually Wiz Kid Samuel is the photographer and Jim is
the subject, but for these lessons, we changed places and
Wiz Kid Samuel will do the honors, while Jim takes the
If you have been wondering what has been happening
with both The Wiz Kids, Inc., and the East Orange Unified
Marching Band, both have slowed down their activities
while Director Frederick Goode has been attending Cheyney University in Pennsylvania
to acquire a Bachelor's degree (awarded in September
of 2017) and a Master's Degree - just finishing up at
Cheyney this year (2018). He may go on and get a PhD, or
may take a break and come home. Time will Tell, and we'll
report what it Tells when it Happens.
Wiz Kid/EOUMB Member, Samuel Myrtil,
our "official photographer", took a series of
photos of Wiz Kid Jim to illustrate Jim's latest e-Book, Easter Bunny Parade. Samuel's last bicycle was
stolen, so Samuel earned enough to buy a brand new
bicycle and today Jim helped him assemble the bicycle,
adjust and tighten everything, and then Samuel had to
hurry home before the big winter snow storm Noah,
that has been predicted for this weekend, began dropping
its first snowflakes.
